Job summary

CVS Health Corporation's Omnicare unit seeks a Pharmacy Technician/Delivery Driver in Sanford, FL to split time between the closed-door pharmacy and the road, filling, staging, and verifying orders, and delivering them to long-term care communities and patients’ homes on a predefined route.

The role requires a pharmacy technician license or state-authorized credential, 1+ year of experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license or as required by state law.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current, valid driver’s license for vehicle operation.
• Geographical knowledge of the service area.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to drive for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through assigned pharmacy workstations (Packaging, Staging, Returns, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell, Machine Packaging, sterile and non-sterile).
• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies to long-term care facilities or patients' homes on a predetermined route.
• Load products and maintain the assigned vehicle, report maintenance issues.
• Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws including HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
