Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician/Delivery Driver in Rockford, IL. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, while also making deliveries using a company vehicle.

The role requires an active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license and NPTC certification, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with benefits offered.

Qualifications

Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license and National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
Reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.
Ability to use your own car to make deliveries if the company vehicle is not working.

Responsibilities

Deliveries approximately half the day using a company vehicle.
Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
Receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies and process wholesaler orders.
Verify medication stock and maintain inventory in the computer system.
Assist the pharmacist to comply with federal/state requirements and perform clerical duties.
