Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in New York. You will engage with customers at the counter, assist pharmacists, and support daily pharmacy operations using the latest technology to grow your career.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
Prior Walgreens experience (preferred).
Good math and computer skills; knowledge of store inventory control (preferred).
Earn PTCB certification through the Walgreens training program.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists under supervision in dispensing and pharmacy operations.
Process prescriptions and verify medicine accuracy.
Deliver a distinctive customer experience and handle customer questions.
Maintain inventory and assist with clerical duties.
Engage with customers to build strong patient relationships.
