Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centered team. You will interact with customers, help build patient relationships, and use state-of-the-art technology to support care delivery.

We offer an apprenticeship path with training and certification through PTCB, plus opportunities to grow your skills and advance within Walgreens. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist, handling prescriptions, cashiers, and patient information

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs; verify accuracy.
• Assist customers and operate the cash register; provide excellent customer service.
• Support inventory management and store operations as directed by Pharmacy Manager.
