Job summary

Walgreens is transforming pharmacy technician roles to be more patient-centric. As a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice, you will engage customers, learn technology tools, and develop relationships while supporting the pharmacist in dispensing and related duties.

The program includes earn-while-you-learn training guided toward PTCB certification, with opportunities to progress to senior technician roles and work with Walgreens care teams.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Retail experience preferred (6+ months).
• Strong math and numerical accuracy.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision with dispensing and clerical duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems andCash handling as applicable.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build patient relationships.
• Support inventory management and stock of pharmaceuticals in the store.
• Adhere to Walgreens policies and quality programs.
