Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Prefer basic computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and deliver a delightful customer experience.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions, verify accuracy and check for possible interactions.
• Assist with cash handling and guiding customers to OTC products.
• Support inventory management and processing of pharmaceutical shipments.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications.
