Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the hospital’s pharmacy operations on a per diem basis. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory control in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Job Requirements

Pharmacy Technicians, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department not requiring the professional judgment of the pharmacist. Pharmacy Technicians assist the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Pharmacy Technicians function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines and state and federal regulations. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Technical School/2 yrs college/Associate degree preferred.
