Job summary

Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations and assist the Pharmacist.

Requirements include a high school diploma, state license/registration as applicable, and completion of a recognized technician training program; ASHP-accredited program preferred, 340B experience if applicable; certification preferred.

• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

1. Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred

2. State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations)

5. 340B program experience preferred (if at a 340B facility)

Facility Specific Requirements (as applicable required):

1. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required or obtained within 6 months of hire
