Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
• Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Preferred: 2+ years of hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• Completion of sterile compounding training/competency as required by State BOP.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
• Participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
• Do related work as required.
• Maintain competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.
