Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking an evening shift, full-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing medications and assisting pharmacy operations.

Under supervision, you will participate as a team member, maintain accuracy, and remain competent in sterile IV compounding; requires high school or GED and active technician registration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician with state Board of Pharmacy, if required by state.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.

• Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.

Qualifications:

Job Requrements:

• High School graduate or GED.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment.
• Goodorganizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Preferred Job Requrements:

• 1 year previous hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment).
• Current BLS.
