Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the daily operations of the hospital's pharmacy during the night shift. You will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist to ensure accurate dispensing and efficient service.

We expect candidates to have a HS diploma or equivalent, PTCB certification (or progress toward it within 6 months), and state licensing where required.

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• PTCB certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire date (may be waived for current pharmacy students).
• State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if state regulations require).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• 340B program experience preferred (if at a 340B facility).

Assists the Pharmacist, under his or her supervision, in the daily operation of the Pharmacy.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required or obtained within 6 months of hire date (this requirement may be waived for current pharmacy students enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy)
• State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations)
