Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK seeks an evening shift, full-time Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing medications and daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Ideal candidates are high school graduates or GED, active pharmacy technician registration per state, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Hospital pharmacy experience and national certification are preferred.

• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment.

Responsibilities

• The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
• Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
• Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.
