Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a variable shift, PRN Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing medications and managing pharmacy operations. Under supervision, you will assist with dispensing, inventory, and workflow, contributing to safe, accurate patient care.

Ideal candidates have completed high school or GED, hold a valid Pharmacy Technician license or registration where required, and possess at least 1 year of hospital-to-pharmacy

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by the state of employment.
• 1 year of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• Current BLS.

Responsibilities

• The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
• Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
• Does related work, as required.
