Job summary

Garden City Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Pharmacy Technician for per diem day shifts to support a busy inpatient pharmacy. You will assist the Pharmacist in daily operations, ensuring accurate medication preparation and dispensing while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, state license/registration as required, ASHP-accredited training, and prior pharmacy tech experience. 340B experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program preferred.

1. Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred 2. State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations)3. High school diploma or equivalent4. Facility Specific Requirements (as applicable required):

1. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required or obtained within 6 months of hire 2. Or valid Pharmacy Intern Licenses required
