Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support provider clinics across Phoenix. You will assist with prescriptions, manage inventory, and coordinate coverage for 30 sites. Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with a home site in Phoenix, AZ.

You will work under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, handle data entry, and maintain regulatory compliance while delivering strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona.
  • Experience with prescription data entry and customer service.
  • Ability to cover 30 sites across Phoenix and adjacent areas.
  • Able to work Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm and maintain accuracy.
  • Reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
  • Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under supervision.
  • Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
  • Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain inventory records.
  • Assist Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform clerical duties and communicate clearly in writing and speech.
  • Cover all 30 Phoenix sites for PTO and callouts.

Hours:

Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am-5:00pm

Location:

Home site is1515 E Osborn Rd. Phoenix, AZ and will be responsible for covering PTO and callouts across all 30 Phoenix locations

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
  • Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to cover all 30 sites in the Phoenix area
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
  • 1+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
  • Ability to cover all 30 sites in the Phoenix area to cover PTO and callouts as needed
  • Ability to work office hours Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30am-5:00pm
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
