We Are Seeking

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires a skilled professional who is committed to providing exceptional pharmacy services in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sterile compounding and aseptic techniques, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

The Pharmacy Technician will work in a hospital environment, supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. The role involves working in the sterile compounding space and requires proficiency in aseptic techniques and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN). The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

• IV room certification and experience required
• 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience required
• 40 hours per week for day/evening shifts (5O8 hr shifts)
• Overnight shifts: 7 on/off with 10 hr shifts

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 450
• Number of Staff: approximately 60
• Day Shift: 10 pharmacists, 8-9 technicians
• Evening Shift: 3 pharmacists, 4 technicians
• Night Shift: 1 pharmacist, 2 technicians
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
• Permanent Positions Available

Requirements

Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Hospital pharmacy experience

Preferred or nice to have: Candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Sterile compounding certification

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Pharmacist - sage green top, black pants; Technicians - khaki top, black pants
