Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Assistant to assist at the pharmacy counter, greet customers, process transactions, and help locate non-prescription items while keeping interactions professional and courteous.

You will support order processing, maintain cleanliness, and help manage records and basic pharmacy tasks within regulatory guidelines, contributing to a smooth and accurate pharmacy operation.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on location requirements)
• Prior customer service or retail experience preferred
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
• Strong communication and basic math skills required
• Compliance with all company policies and applicable pharmacy regulations
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the pharmacy counter and process transactions
• Assist customers by locating non-prescription items
• Support order processing and maintain records within regulatory guidelines
• Keep the pharmacy organized and clean throughout the day
• Help manage backroom inventory and stocking
• Direct complex questions to the pharmacist as needed
