Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Pharmacy Supply Chain Specialist to optimize procurement, supply management and inventory for clinical operations in New York. The role partners with drug suppliers, internal stakeholders and peers to ensure patient-ready medications at optimal cost.

Responsibilities include coordinating purchases, maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring 340B and regulatory compliance, and using EPIC Willow (WINV) to manage inventory and replenishment across acute care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or entry-level business degree in accounting, operations, information systems, or supply chain management.
• At least 2 years of pharmacy purchasing and/or supervisory experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret purchasing and inventory data to improve performance.
• Graduate degree/certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Procure drugs, vaccines, imaging agents and related items for acute care sites.
• Maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery and favorable pricing.
• Ensure compliance with 340B, GPO/contractual and WAC requirements.
• Collaborate with PO Requestors and AP to ensure on-time payments.
• Manage inventory planning, PAR levels, and shortage risk.
• Utilize EPIC Willow Inventory (WINV) for purchasing and receiving medications.
• Coordinate drug transfers within the health system and externally.
• Ensure DSCSA compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s or entry-level business degree (accounting, operations, information systems, supply chain management) is highly preferred.
