Encompass Health is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor in Irmo, SC to oversee the department in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy and to support the adherence to pharmacy regulations. The role includes teaching staff, monitoring usage and costs, and ensuring medication availability.

Responsibilities include supervising scheduling, ordering medications, maintaining inventory, and interacting with medical staff to resolve drug information questions.

Qualificações

• Successful completion of a pharmacy degree from a U.S.-accredited program or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Licensed in good standing by the State Pharmacy Board where the hospital is located.

Responsabilidades

• Provides staff and hospital education regarding pharmaceutical care and medication management.
• Monitors data including pharmaceutical usage, medication costs, and patient outcomes, and implements improvements.
• Monitors procurement, inventory, and restocking to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
• Supervises scheduling, staffing, dispensing, and clinical programs in the department.
• Reports incidents and maintains compliance with hospital and regulatory policies.
• Collaborates with medical staff and uses EHR for clinical and operational tasks.
