Job summary

Albertsons Companies is offering a pharmacy student internship focused on patient counseling, immunization, MTM, and disease state management within a progressive pharmacy setting.

Interns will gain hands-on experience under a registered pharmacist, assisting with prescription filling, customer service, and over-the-counter guidance while supporting community health initiatives and clinical services.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Must hold a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment.
• Ability to adapt to changes in schedule and priorities.
• Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated pharmacist preceptor.
• Takes all steps required to fill prescriptions in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Offers advice and consultation to customers and health care professionals regarding prescription knowledge and health products.
• Implements company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability.
• Actively participates in clinical services.
