Provide exceptional customer service and train others to do the same, helping people live healthier lives by treating customers and employees fairly and ethically. Maintain a safe, clean, inclusive environment, and provide the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Offer direct patient interventions such as health and wellness services, consistent with legal regulations. Demonstrate core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support company Health and Wellness initiatives
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain current registration, certification, or license as required by state law
• Administer vaccinations, perform point of care testing, complete Technician Product Verification, and other duties as allowed by law
• Assist pharmacists in responsibilities excluding those requiring professional judgment
• Provide excellent customer experience with accurate and efficient service
• Support training for pharmacy associates and new technicians
• Lead by example to ensure department standards are met
• Represent the store in meetings/huddles
• Support workflow and oversight through shift leadership
• Recognize safety issues and coach accordingly
• Follow sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
• Comply with all relevant regulations and report illegal activities
• Perform all essential job functions of a Pharmacy Certified Technician

Qualifications

Minimum

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of pharmacy technician experience within Kroger
• At least 18 years old
• Completion of required training programs and maintenance as per law
• Active CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills
• Attention to detail and customer service skills
• Required registration or licensure

Desired

• Management or supervisory experience (1 year preferred)
