Job summary

The Pharmacy Hub in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Shipping Clerk to organize and process shipments for our pharmacy operations. You will pick, pack, and label orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols in a fast-paced environment.

This 100% onsite role requires at least 1 year in shipping/logistics, English fluency (Spanish preferred), basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a shipper/packer or in a similar logistics or warehouse role.
• Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred
• Available to work flexible 10-hour shifts within the timeframe of 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday
• Basic computer skills to process orders and track shipments
• Familiarity with shipping and logistics procedures
• Knowledge of proper handling and packaging of medications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Problem-solving abilities to manage shipment discrepancies
• Ability to operate packaging and labeling equipment

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process orders for shipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Accurately pick, pack, and label packages for shipment
• Ensure medications are packaged appropriately, considering temperature, stability, and packaging specifications for safe transport
• Select and utilize correct shipping supplies as required for medication safety
• Collaborate to maintain an organized shipping environment
• Additional projects and responsibilities may be designated by the supervisor
• Work closely with staff to support daily shipping operations and meet logistics goals
• Communicate effectively with other departments and external partners to resolve shipping-related issues
