Job description

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery Contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and route requirements. Prepares doses for shipment, handles cases, wipes doses, and loads/unloads containers following safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Schedule

• 20 hours/week
• Typically operates Monday-Friday from 6:30 am to 10:30 am
• Includes weekend rotation (approximately every 4 weeks, from 4:30 am to 8:30 am)
• Flexibility to work different days, schedules, hours, or overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers to customer accounts using a non-CDL company vehicle
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication, performs testing, and manages containers
• Uses a handheld tablet for order accuracy, routing, and navigation
• Processes returned packages from customer locations
• Maintains vehicle condition and performs minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Minimum age of 18 due to vehicle operation
• Prior delivery experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Vendor credentialing may be required
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night
• Ability to sit, stand, move, and operate a vehicle for extended periods
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Availability to work weekends/holidays on a rotation
• Proficiency with computers and tablets
