Job summary

Walgreens in Naples, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk/Pharmacy Technician trainee to assist pharmacists, greet customers, and register sales at the cash register while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will use pharmacy systems to view patient and drug information, fill prescriptions under supervision, and help with inventory and store maintenance; prior retail experience and PTCB certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accuracy in dispensing.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control (preferred).
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients, greet them, offer assistance, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions under supervision and ensure accurate information entry.
• Process prescriptions, check for interactions, and maintain workflow with the Pharmacy Manager and staff.
• Handle cash register duties, including processing transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Support inventory management, shelf replenishment, and merchandising as directed.
• Provide photo services in the store’s photo area and assist with related products.
