Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB ( PTCE ) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
This position requires use of a computer workstation, completion of tasks with repetitive motions, and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. This position may require personnel to wear personal protective equipment to reduce risk of exposure to work-related hazards (e.g. handling of hazardous medications).
Monday – Friday, Day Shift
Assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital and outpatient infusion setting. Prepares, compounds and delivers individual patient doses, primarily sterile hazardous and non-hazardous IV medications for adult and pediatric populations in accordance with current 797 USP guidelines. Maintains a sterile work environment with specified cleaning procedures. Assists pharmacists and other technicians with inventory management of materials and medications.

Hospital/retail pharmacy technician and/or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
