Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks a Retail Pharmacy Technician - Billing Reconciliation Specialist to support pharmacy revenue cycle activities across inpatient, outpatient retail, specialty, and infusion services. You will identify billing issues, ensure accurate reimbursements, and collaborate with pharmacy, finance, and IT to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires strong attention to detail, PBM/remittance familiarity, and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires strong knowledge of pharmacy revenue cycle operations and billing workflows.
• Ability to analyze financial data, reconcile accounts, and identify discrepancies.
• Experience with PBMs, remittance data, and electronic processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports billing accuracy, denial resolution, and reimbursement reconciliation across care settings.
• Manages follow-up activities, cash posting, collections, and reconciliation.
• Reconciles daily deposits and coordinates bank processing and audits.
• Submits daily receipt audits including transactions and electronic payments.
• Investigates missing reimbursements and reduces 90+ day balances.
• Prepares month-end financial reports and tracks DIR fees by location.
