Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Pharmacy Resource Specialist to coordinate pharmacy staff, students and volunteers, maintain inventory at optimal levels, and ensure a reliable supply of medications. Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Business or related field; substitution with 2 years of additional specialized experience allowed.
• Licenses/Certifications: Pharmacy Tech registration or Pharmacist intern registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
• IV Certification: ACPE IV Certification with 40-hour course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Education, Inventory, or Systems operations management within Pharmacy.
• Coordinate with pharmacy staff, students, volunteers.
• Coordinate with external personnel such as vendors and contractors.
• Contribute to development of processes in relevant sectors.
• Support operations including inventory management, shortages, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Provide feedback on new hires’ progress to managers.
• Develop and deliver presentations as needed.
• Mentor other technicians to build competency and experience.
• Ensure safe patient care and adherence to Memorial Hermann policies and standards.
• Promote professional growth and serve as preceptor and resource.
