Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree.
- Licensed as a pharmacy Intern by the state of Arkansas prior to pharmacist licensure.
- Membership in American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) is required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with health care providers to individualize medication therapies.
- Contributes to formulary management.
- Educates health care professionals regarding medications.
- Maintains patient medication profiles in an automated pharmacy information system.
- Monitors patient’s drug therapy for side effects and interactions.
