Job summary

Samaritan Health Services' Pharmacy Department seeks a licensed Oregon Pharmacist to lead and manage daily operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality services. Candidates should have residency or experience in health-system pharmacy, leadership experience, and be prepared to meet pre-employment screening and ACLS/BLS

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency preferred.
• ASHP-accredited residency in pharmacy practice plus one year pharmacist experience or two years pharmacist experience.
• One year leadership experience plus one year pharmacist experience; six months in interim SHS Pharmacy Supervisor role may substitute.
• Leadership experience preferred; drug screen required pre-employment/post-offer.
• PCH Pharmacy requires Healthcare Provider Level BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a system of management controls to ensure efficient and effective delivery of quality pharmacy services.
• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate department functions, activities, and costs.
• Prepare and dispense medication; assess clinical status of patients; provide drug information to the medical team; educate patients.
