Job summary

Socket.dev is recruiting a Pharmacy Production Technician to perform core medication production activities across filling, pre-pack, tote, and related workflows, ensuring medications are prepared, tracked, packaged, and staged for pharmacist verification and delivery.

You will print labels, fill and hand-pack medications, and submit prepared meds for pharmacist verification and QA, while using pre-pack automation and maintaining accurate staging and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Registration or authorization as a pharmacy technician as needed by location.
• Ability to handle, label, document and track medications within procedures.
• Experience with pharmacy systems and medication-related math helpful.

Responsibilities

• Print labels and match to prescription orders.
• Fill and hand-pack medications per procedures and safety standards.
• Submit prepared meds for pharmacist verification and QA.
• Operate approved pre-pack automation and monitor accuracy.
• Troubleshoot routine equipment issues within authority and escalate as needed.
• Verify, scan, tote, and stage meds in correct receptacles and sequence.
• Maintain organized workstations and replenish supplies to meet targets.
