Job summary

Sam's Club Pharmacy in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will learn and improve customer health and wellness while advocating for patient wellbeing.

You will help with processing prescription and OTC orders, assist with patient care, and support the pharmacy team in inventory and daily operations, all while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Familiar with HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
• Ability to support patient care in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of information and records per policy and laws.
• Help process prescription and OTC orders.
• Deliver patient care by assessing needs and guiding therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise from distribution centers.
