Job summary

Sam's Club Pharmacy, a Sam's West, Inc. unit, invites applications for a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will learn to support customer health and wellness while advocating for patient wellbeing under guidance.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, assisting with OTC orders, stocking supplies, and upholding HIPAA/PHI guidelines while delivering compassionate patient care and service to customers in Kenner, LA.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school and pursuing licensure.
• Ability to process prescription and OTC orders.
• Deliver patient care by assessing needs and navigating therapies.
• Commitment to HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and records.
• Help with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing the patient, assessing their needs, and helping navigate therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
