Job summary

The Walmart Pharmacy in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in customer health and wellness within a community pharmacy setting. You will learn to support patient care, process prescriptions, and assist the pharmacy team while upholding privacy and safety standards.

Eligible students enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program will contribute to daily operations, stock supplies, and engage in community outreach.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• HIPAA/PHI guidelines compliance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help with processing prescription and OTC orders.
• Deliver patient care by assessing patient needs and guiding therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and records per policies.
