Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Pre-Grad Intern for our pharmacy team in Charlottesville. You’ll gain hands-on experience in patient care and customer health, supporting the delivery of safe and efficient pharmacy services in a community setting.

You will learn pharmaceutical care practices, assist with prescription processing, and participate in outreach activities while following HIPAA and PHI guidelines. The role offers meaningful exposure to a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy-based immunization delivery certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of information and records per policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by assessing needs and guiding therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers.
