Job summary

Western New England University is seeking a part-time student worker to assist faculty with OSCE preparation and coordination of standardized patient activities. You will help organize materials, train standardized patients, and handle scheduling while maintaining strict confidentiality of assessment materials.

Must be a current WNE student in good standing and able to work independently. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office/365

Qualifications

  • Must not be enrolled in the PharmD program.
  • Current WNE student in good academic standing required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependable and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office/365 and Zoom.
  • Students in health sciences, psychology, biology, neuroscience, education, communication or related programs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and organization of OSCE materials.
  • Assist with preparation of standardized patient training materials.
  • Help coordinate communications and materials for standardized patients.
  • Review standardized patient instructions for clarity and consistency.
  • Organize case materials and supporting documents.
  • Assist with scheduling and other administrative aspects of standardized patient activities.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all OSCE cases and assessment materials.

DescriptionThe Department of Pharmacy Practice is seeking a WNE student to assist faculty with preparation and coordination of Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) and standardized patient activities.Because this position may involve access to confidential assessment materials, applicants cannot be currently enrolled in the PharmD program.ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparation and organization of OSCE materialsAssist with preparation of standardized patient training materialsHelp coordinate communications and materials for standardized patientsReview standardized patient instructions for clarity and consistencyOrganize case materials and supporting documentsAssist with scheduling and other administrative aspects of standardized patient activitiesAssist with in-person or virtual standardized patient training as neededMaintain strict confidentiality of all OSCE cases and assessment materialsComplete other OSCE-related preparation tasks as assignedQualificationsMust not be enrolled in the PharmD program or pre-pharmacyCurrent WNE student in good academic standingStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsDependable and able to work independentlyComfortable using Microsoft Office/365 and ZoomAble to maintain strict confidentiality regarding assessment materialsStudents in health sciences, psychology, biology, neuroscience, education, communication, or other related programs are encouraged to apply.ConfidentialityThis position may involve access to secure educational assessment materials.
