Job summary

D'Youville University in Buffalo, NY is seeking faculty to coordinate and deliver instruction in the pharmacotherapeutics sequence, both in traditional and online pathways. The role includes maintaining a clinical practice in ambulatory/internal medicine and precepting Pharm.D. students.

Three tenure-track? non-tenure track positions available. Faculty rank will reflect education and qualifications; involvement in scholarship and service is expected.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree required.
• Completion of a PGY1 residency, preferably with PGY2 as well.
• Experience in internal medicine.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to utilize various software programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver instruction across the pharmacotherapeutics course sequence, while maintaining a clinical practice and acting as a preceptor to students.
• Participate in committee assignments as required by the School.
• Engage in service to the community in line with the university mission.
• Engage in scholarship and research aligned with area of specialty for renewal/promotion.
• Serve as an advisor to Pharm.D students.
