Job summary

MCHS Community Pharmacy in Elkhart, KS is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead a community/retail pharmacy we recently acquired, backed by Morton County Health Systems, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time position in a small-town setting with real autonomy and strong system support.

The PIC will oversee operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage staff, and maintain high standards of patient care while leveraging a stable health-system environment.

Qualifications

• Active Kansas pharmacist license (or eligibility to obtain promptly).
• Oklahoma license a plus, given our location on the border.
• PIC/management experience preferred; open to strong candidates ready to step into their first PIC role.

Job description

Shift: M-F 9:00-5:30

Weekend scheduling: None

Start Date: ASAP - Current PIC's last day is August 31st.

Contract length: Full time

Required Certifications: Kanas Pharmacist License, Oklahoma license a plus
