Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Pharmacy Production Clerk to ensure medications meet quality standards and are properly labeled, stored, and stocked. You will visually inspect medications and report issues to maintain safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• General computer skills.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to read and compare and differentiate data.
• Ability to stare/review small medications or bottles for long periods.
• Ability to be on feet walking and standing for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each package has the correct paperwork, envelopes, medications, packing and shipping labels before sealing.
• Work on one order at a time at the workstation.
• Ensure that the address prints correctly on each package.
• Seal bags correctly and ensure printers have the correct paper.
• Package special handling prescriptions per process and policy.
• Collaborate with coworkers to share best practices while maintaining quality.
• Keep the workstation clean at all times.
• Perform other duties as needed.
