Express Scripts Pharmacy in Tempe, AZ is hiring an Arizona Certified Pharmacy Technician (or Trainee) to work onsite at our Fulfillment Center. The role combines attention to detail with efficient prescription preparation, supported by a team of pharmacists in a temperature-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1+ year of relevant Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred but not required.
• AZ Pharmacy Technician license; AZ Trainee license accepted with 1 year before expiration.
• Experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Basic math, PC literacy, internet and email skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment accurately, including label changes and maintenance tasks.
• Prepare prescriptions for dispensing and assist pharmacists as needed.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure accurate filling and packing.
• Maintain clean work area and participate in routine equipment checks.
• Show flexibility to take on additional tasks as required.
