Job summary

CDPHP is seeking a Pharmacy Outreach Coordinator to provide administrative support for pharmacy programs aimed at reducing costs and improving quality metrics for members. The role involves outreach to providers, members, and pharmacies, plus data analysis and quality checks to ensure program effectiveness.

Experience in health-related fields and a Pharmacy Technician certification are preferred. Remote work may be available; travel within the service region could be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• High school education required with a minimum of two years' experience in health related field.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) strongly preferred.
• Experience in doctor's office, hospital, infusion center, pharmacy, or customer service preferred.
• Basic understanding of drug classes and therapeutic interchange as displayed on formulary or drug policies.
• Awareness of prescription and medical benefits as it relates to utilization review is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy programs and projects with administrative tasks.
• Outreach to providers, members, and pharmacies related to clinical programs.
• Analyze financial progress reports and prioritize tasks to meet stakeholders' expectations.
• Serve as an outpatient medication access specialist for members locally and outside the service area.
• Conduct quality checks on system applications and document processes.
