The Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement in Town of Waverly is looking for an RX order selector to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking pharmacy merchandise accurately while adhering to safety protocols. This full-time position operates Monday - Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm, with overtime opportunities and requires effective communication with coworkers.

Shift

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Overtime required outside these hours (up to 10 hours a day and occasional weekend work).

Role Overview

As an RX order selector, you will pick pieces of pharmacy merchandise into a tote or box to be sent to stores. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of accuracy and performance to meet the needs of store orders while utilizing safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Read store orders from a tablet or RF unit which will include item locations, descriptions, and quantity needed.
• Select the needed quantities/pieces of merchandise and place them into a tote or box.
• Seal tote/box and place on pick line.
• Work efficiently and effectively on pick lines with 10 or more other employees; must communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas during and at the end of each shift.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Cross train in other warehouse duties as necessary.
• Work professionally with others in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

• Maintain a high level of accuracy for merchandise selected.
• Maintain 100% or greater performance standards.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Comply with all policies and procedures of the CVS Health warehouse and DEA regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift/move totes/boxes/cases utilizing safe lifting techniques, with or without reasonable accommodation (30lb minimum requirement, 50lbs regularly, 75lbs occasionally).
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, etc for long periods of time; must perform safely with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to pass federal background check and drug screening as you will be working with prescription medication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Warehouse Experience.
• Experience in a fast paced environment.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Pay Range

$16.00 - $23.56 per hour.
