McKesson is offering a Pharmacy Summer Intern position based in Irving, TX. This 10-week, full-time internship provides exposure to pharmacy operations and collaboration with pharmacists and technicians to improve efficiency and customer experience.

As an intern, you will analyze data, support cross-functional projects, and learn industry best practices while engaging with subject matter experts and executives in a structured program designed for experiential learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a healthcare degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data analysis efforts to evaluate current processes and procedures for opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention and implement technology solutions where appropriate.
• Support process improvement initiatives across various functional groups within Specialty Pharmacy Operations.
• Provide assistance to cross-functional teams as needed for special projects.
• Work with members of the support team to solve customer problems.
• Attend team meetings to stay abreast of key initiatives and learn from subject matter experts.
• Learn and apply industry best practices in analyzing data sets to drive actionable insights.
