Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Pharmacist to assist leadership in managing personnel and systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead automation and workflow improvements. The role includes supervising staff, coaching, and performing clinical pharmacist duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a Florida Pharmacist license, an accredited School of Pharmacy, and at least two years of pharmacist experience.

Qualificações

• Two years of experience as a pharmacist or equivalent post graduate residency training.
• Graduate from a school of Pharmacy.
• Active Florida Pharmacist license required.

Responsabilidades

• Manages and troubleshoots technology and automation resources to assure appropriateness of preparation, distribution, administration, and monitoring outcomes of the drug therapy process.
• Provides orientation, training, and coaching to personnel.
• Assists with performance evaluations and corrective actions.
• Monitors quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
• Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols to meet regulatory requirements from state, federal, and accrediting bodies.
• Identifies and implements recommendations for process improvement including cost effectiveness, operational efficiency, and inventory management.
• Coordinates and supervises daily staffing, scheduling, and workflows to optimize operational efficiency.
• Assists the pharmacy leadership team in the management of operational and clinical pharmacy services.
• Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and provides customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs all clinical pharmacist roles and functions as needed.
