Job summary

Geisinger Hazleton is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to supervise staff, oversee the medication use process and clinical services in the assigned area. You will ensure safe, efficacious and cost-effective drug therapy for all patients, coordinating with physicians and care teams for optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include evaluating practice, developing new programs, staffing and budget planning, and maintaining compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania is required.
• Minimum 1 year managerial/supervisory experience required.
• Minimum 3 years related pharmacy work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and oversee the medication use process in the area.
• Maintain best practice standards of clinical care and patient satisfaction.
• Evaluate current pharmacy practice and implement improvements.
• Plan development of new programs and staffing in assigned area.
