Job Description: Pharmacy Technician

As a full-time certified pharmacy technician, you will be accountable for performing day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. Your responsibilities include:

1. Operating pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
2. Supervising pharmacy technicians and cashiers within company policies, laws, regulations, and ethics.
3. Leading the selection, scheduling, and development of pharmacy technician personnel, including training, coaching, and performance management.
4. Engaging customers by greeting them, assisting with products and services, resolving complaints, and answering questions to enhance the customer experience.
5. Developing strong relationships with customers and proactively offering healthcare services.
6. Assisting in patient care activities such as registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, and verification, under pharmacist supervision.
7. Delegating and assigning non-clinical work, ensuring tasks are completed timely, and managing pharmacy workflow.
8. Preparing and filing reports required by the company and government agencies.
9. Managing pharmacy operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring a clean and stocked environment.
10. Ensuring compliance with all pharmacy activities, including Good Faith Dispensing, security, and asset protection.
11. Supporting pharmacy financials, operational quality, and community outreach efforts.
12. Leading performance management, hiring, onboarding, and training of pharmacy technicians, and ensuring licensure compliance.
13. Maintaining PTCB certification, pursuing professional development, and participating in team meetings.
14. Meeting minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, PTCB or ExCPT certification, one year of experience, fluency in English, and willingness to work flexible hours.
