Responsibilities include:

• Performing day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. Serves as a full-time certified pharmacy technician.
• Operating pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, processing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, and supervising pharmacy technicians and cashiers within legal and company guidelines.
• Leading the training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians, including making decisions on discipline and termination.

Customer Experience:

• Engage customers and patients, resolve complaints, respond to requests, and answer non-clinical questions to ensure a positive experience. Develop strong relationships and proactively offer services to enhance healthcare focus.

Operations:

• Assist pharmacists in delivering patient care, including registration, prescription entry, medication preparation, and healthcare services like vaccinations and health screenings, within legal limits.

People & Performance Management:

• Lead technician performance management, including hiring, training, scheduling, and ensuring licensure compliance.

Training & Personal Development:

• Maintain PTCB certification, enhance pharmacy knowledge, and pursue ongoing education and certifications.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with the pharmacy team and participate in meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, PTCB or ExCPT certification, at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, fluency in English, and willingness to work flexible hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership experience and prior Walgreens employment with high performance evaluations.

Salary range: $22.50 - $31.00/hour, depending on various factors. Role is full-time, management and manufacturing function. Open until filled. Benefits details available on Walgreens website.
