Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities, ensuring efficient workflow and positive patient experience. Serve as a full-time certified pharmacy technician.
- Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision. Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers within legal and company guidelines.
- Lead recruitment, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians. Make decisions regarding disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Enhance customer experience through engagement, resolving complaints, and building relationships. Focus on healthcare services to improve service quality.
- Assist pharmacists with patient care activities, including registration, prescription entry, medication preparation, and health services like vaccinations and screenings, under supervision.
- Manage pharmacy operations, including scheduling, inventory, compliance, and equipment maintenance. Ensure adherence to Good Faith Dispensing and security protocols.
- Lead performance management, including hiring, onboarding, training, and monitoring licensure and certifications of team members.
- Maintain professional certifications, pursue ongoing education, and seek personal development opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with the team and participate in meetings. Maintain a high school diploma or GED, and relevant pharmacy technician certifications.
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, with previous leadership experience preferred.
