Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida in Boca Raton is seeking a seasoned manager to lead the local operations, supervise supervisors and technicians, and ensure timely, accurate workflow while maintaining high customer service. You will partner with leadership to set departmental objectives, optimize staffing, and implement process improvements.

A pharmacy background and strong computer skills are essential for success in this fast-paced healthcare environment.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required by state; national certification preferred (PTCB).
5+ years of experience, preferably in high-volume pharmacy.
2+ years' experience as a manager/supervisor.
Strong computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required.

Hire, manage, train, evaluate, coach, and develop Supervisors/Lead Technicians; assign duties and responsibilities.
Assist with hiring and management of staff to ensure adequate coverage for workflow.
Ensure Supervisors/Leads assign work volume appropriate to each technician's duties and measure productivity and accuracy.

Location: Boca Raton, FL

As a key member of the local management team, ensure that all functions are performed timely and accurately. Manage departmental leads/supervisors to ensure that key metrics and labor goals are achieved. Collaborate with leadership to develop departmental objectives and goals. Assists in evaluating workflow/technological enhancements to improve efficiency. Assist supervisors in scheduling adequate staff to meet the needs of the business within budgeted guidelines.

Essential job functions (include the following):

Hire, manage, train, evaluate, coach, and develop Supervisors/Lead Technicians; assign duties and responsibilities

Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education and/or Certifications :

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB) may be required (pharmacy specific)

Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years of experience, preferably in high-volume pharmacy

2+ years' experience as a manager/supervisor

Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required

Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines

Ability to solve problems with minimal direction

Great attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines

Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate

Lean Six Sigma skills and experience preferred

Ability to analyze workflow and staffing needs and implement improvements

Ability to manage subordinates' performance to achieve objectives of department

Work Environment:

Requires up travel by air and ground

Ability to work flexible hours
