Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical operations, patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation under the supervision of a pharmacist.

You will lead technician training, manage scheduling, and contribute to a positive patient experience while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. Excellent English communication and a flexible schedule are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including prescription data entry, medication preparation, and calls under supervision.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of technicians and coordinate with the Pharmacy Manager on staffing and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, company policies, and Good Faith Dispensing requirements.
