Job summary

Walmart in Mason City, IA is seeking a Pharmacy Professional to provide comprehensive patient care by accurately dispensing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and supporting Walmart's health programs in compliance with state regulations.

You will manage pharmacy operations, ensure inventory and pricing accuracy, counsel customers, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while upholding high standards of patient safety and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Pharmacy license required by job entry date.
• Completion of ACPE accredited immunization training program required.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive patient care by dispensing prescriptions accurately and administering immunizations.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, SOPs and regulatory requirements across pharmacy operations.
• Manages inventory, pricing and checkout processes while maintaining customer service and safety standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP)

Pharmacy license

Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program
